The Vacuum Driver, works locally and operates specialized vacuum trucks to collect and transport various types of liquid and solid waste, including industrial by-products, sewage, and other materials. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and effective communication with clients and team members.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid Class-A Commercial Drivers License (CDL-A) with a Tanker Endorsement
QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS Diploma and/or GED and a minimum of 1 year of driving experience operating a class A commercial motor vehicle with a tanker endorsement
- Valid CDL-A in state of operation
- LAS VEGAS ONLY – Must be authorized to operate a manual transmission
- Ability to work overnight shift
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- No more than 1 at-fault vehicle accident in the previous 5 years
- Ability to successfully complete a background check, including, but is not limited to, verification of criminal history, employment history, and educational credentials.
- Ability to pass a drug screening will be subject to random drug tests during employment.
- Good roadside inspection history
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot vacuum trucks and related machinery.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
